He does not get baking soda because he won’t eat the food or drink the water I put it in, even in tiny amounts.

Whenever I need to give my cats something they don't want to take I dissolve it in water and either with a teaspoon or dropper I give it to them between their front teeth because then they swallow it without it going down the wrong way. They seem to know that what I give them is for their good even though they don't want to take it. Sick ferals that have had to had much medicine are the first to tame.
