where was this behavior learned

IMHO - and this is just me - I'd say that it's not learned at all.

Rather, the learned behavior is that this type of thing will be tolerated. Maybe even celebrated ("Lookit me on YouTube!").

We didn't have a BK in the small town where I grew up, but if I did something like this, I'd likely need to leave town. Never mind the legal ramifications.

I dunno, maybe I'm putting too fine a point on things.

Animalistic behavior comes naturally. Decent civilized behavior, manners, etc. are taught -forcefully- to those that are raised in a disciplined environment. No surprises here. Keep your powder dry.
