Oh ye of little faith....

Where in Matthew 24:40-41 do you have the one taken the one being raptured? You had to make that up and put it in there. That is not faith, that is eisegesis and it is actually the complete opposite of what our LORD actually does teach.

In Matthew 13 we have the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares. On the Last Day when the workers are sent out into the field who gets pulled out first?

Matt 13:30 "Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'"

So our LORD says to bind up the weeds first. Just in case you didn't get it, after the crowds dispersed, our LORD explained it to the remaining disciples.

Matt 13:40-43 "As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

So you see, the Futurists tell us a version of events that is the exact opposite of what our LORD thought was so important that we even have the explanation of it. So why do you want to believe what is clearly a lie and then criticize others for not falling for this lie you bought in to?
