A strict South Florida dad was arrested on aggravated child abuse and battery charges after he fired his gun to keep his disrespectful daughter in line.
Jorge Alvarenga, 48, was arrested at his Lake Worth home Thursday after the confrontation with his daughter, according to the Palm Beach Post.
According to a police report, Alvarenga became enraged when his daughter said she wanted to meet up with some friends at the beach Friday.
He accused her of going there to meet up with an ex-boyfriend, who he didn't approve of, the daughter told police.
To make his point, Alvarenga allegedly fired his handgun toward a backyard fence.

Now if he had used a scimitar to threaten her with an “honor killing...”
Those Amish are at it once again.....
At least he warned the slut!

One way to handle this is in one’s will. One dollar will do it.
Hmmmm....
Seems a bit severe.
My son has the father disapproval thing down pat, the glare, the tone of voice, and the Polish Winged Hussars coming down to strike the offender. Seems to work, worked for me even though I am not Polish, I think that girls need a strong father figure.
My daddy never believed in warning shots.
If he was a Muslim the Judge would probably excuse him-because according to the American Judiciary we all subject to Shariah now. I recall when a mans home was respected -now we are not even allowed that.
I didn’t see any mention of the daughter’s age. If she’s 18, dad can kick her out of the house.
Perhaps some lawyer out there will settle this for us, but I have been told that that is not necessary. One can just as easily state that you haven't forgotten about him/her/them, you just choose to not leave them anything.
Now, this may not apply to siblings, cousins, etc. and may apply to children (of which I have none so the issue never came up).
