I’ve never owned a “nice” car because a to me they are just a means to get where I am going. I have even bought rebuilts because they cost about 2/3 of book value and then I just drive them into the ground.

I Rebuilt a 74’ pinto in the mud. It cost my mom 600 bucks. I will never forget it. It was the cost to having a car that would go somewhere.
