The Left's panic concerning the defunding of NPR has become quite comical in recent days.
Take for example Rep. Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) who took to the House floor Thursday and said, "If my friends on the other side of the aisle want to strip funding from NPR because they believe -- wrongly, in my view -- that NPR is biased, then we should be given the same opportunity" and prevent taxpayer dollars from being used for advertising "on the partisan political platform of Fox News" (video follows with commentary):
SNIP
According to FoxNews.com:
McGovern cited a Rand Study that found the federal government subsidizes media companies all the time and that the Pentagon alone spent more than $600 million in advertising in 2007.
McGovern did not cite any studies or statistics on how much federal advertising money is spent on Fox News. He did not return requests for comment submitted by FoxNews.com.
There I am minding my own business watching the rebroadcast of Glenn Beck followed by Red Eye when suddenly without warning I see Obummer’s ugly face and hear his stupid voice telling me to volunteer for his Brown Shirt Gang or telling me to mentor some kid who was unfortunate to have irresponsible Liberal Parents.
I'll take that dude Vince doing the Slap Chop commercials over listening to Obama every time.
Thanks to Obama, the split is already here. I just wonder what his white mother and his white grandparents ever did to him to make him hate his white heritage do much. Could it be the influence of his former spiritual leader the Rev. Wright? Or his guilt that all things great were handed to him by white society.
Ever watch SP....... Stan had this problem as well. They spin it to whatever they want. (Trapped in the Closet) Think about it.
Won't they have to ask the Saudis about that?

This guy is a liar, or an idiot, or both. NPR not biased? It is to laugh...
SP?
Why should government at any level have an broadcast media advertising budget? It's an invitation to mischief,
And yes, that includes the the military recruitment ads as well. They didn't do that years ago and they still got recruits.
I have a feeling that they mourned when Joseph Stalin died.
South Park covered the rise of Barrack Hussein hidden under the guise of Mormonism. Those that didn’t get it were wrapped up in their own beliefs. They are clever.
They probably did, but still doesn’t answer my question. Inquiring minds want to know.
Yeah, you nailed it there, that’s why the left hates NASCAR. Very moving, thank you.
I say, GO FOR IT! hee hee
If morons were forbidden to run for office, the Democratic Party would cease to exist!
“How is that possible?”
LOL Anything and everything is possible in the world of a liberal mind!
They know what is best, and they shall decree what is best, and enforce what is best - only a few stinking Conservative “counter-revolutionaries” aka reactionaries stand to block the road to Utopia!
If Fox or any other news station is receiving federal dollars then HECK YA they should stop receiving them.
The guy didn't grow up as a 'black kid.' He grew up as a Marxist, and America was his enemy from the get go --- from his 60s Marxist mother, his transient anti-Western Muslim fathers, and his 1930 radical(Stalinist) white grandparents.
Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson actually nailed him early on but then backed off when the media fell in love with him. They said he wasn't 'legitimate.' As racist and corrupt as those two bit hustlers are, they were correct on that. The guy is not a Black American. He's not a white American. He's an anti-American.
Obama never lived the same Black experience as most blacks have. Never the bad, and never the good. He was always token, never a real person with real experiences.
Most blacks don't hate America. Obama does, only because he was trained to from the very start.
Thank you.
