There’s some bad joke here about Valerie Plame and radioactive plumes, but I can’t come up with it.

It would be really interesting to see something that mapped the radiation from all the land, sea and atmospheric tests conducted, hundreds and hundreds, by the US, USSR, England, France and China.

That would be something to freak out about.

Those of us who were around back then remember that there was hysteria. We were not allowed to drink milk for periods after atmospheric tests in the Pacific because of Strontium-90. I don’t think that was just my parents, because I remember it was on the news.

I was too young to know in 1945-1946 if there was hysteria over US fallout from the Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombs.
