SC DOC is right on with the Camacho recommend...very nice smoke and a good value. Some folks, cigar snobs or sophisticates, like to make cigars as complicated as wine, talking about hints of this and notes of that. Maybe my taste buds aren't so good. Basically to me there is mild, medium, and strong.

I prefer at least a 54 ring gauge or larger, and at least 6 inches long (6x54).

On the stronger side I like the Perdomo Maduro 6x60. On the more expensive side, I occasionally will splurge and fire up a Rocky Patel Decade, expensive but muy tasty, slightly milder than the Perdomo. I also really like the Saint Luis Rey Serie G for a milder smoke, good value.

Someone mentioned finding a cigar store with a good owner who will talk to you. Excellent advice, especially if you find a place where you can light up right there.
