The author apparently isnt bright enough to understand either Blade Runner or The Matrix. I tend to agree, though I have to admit that the Matrix *sequels* actually did indeed descend into sophomoric nonsense that tried to sound philosophical (all the causality stuff w/ the Architect, etc.), in addition to other serious failings.
