According to Tolkien, his inspiration came out of his interest in writing the languages used in the book, coupled with a desire to invent a mythology for England.

“1. Anything by James Cameron”

The first two Terminator movies were good.

The author apparently isn’t bright enough to understand either Blade Runner or The Matrix.

Maybe his drugs just ran out...

Lost in Translation was the worst film I have ever seen...and I have seen some really awful ones.

So young.... still SO ugly.

Groundhog Day ruled.

Amen--surprisingly good ("Surprisingly" because I hadn'r expected anything from it except a "weird-concept" comedy.)

I tend to agree, though I have to admit that the Matrix *sequels* actually did indeed descend into sophomoric nonsense that tried to sound philosophical (all the causality stuff w/ the Architect, etc.), in addition to other serious failings.

Oh, the sequels were a mess. I’ve seen the sequels once, and after that have never bothered to watch them again.
