TOMBSTONE, Ariz.-- It's a scene straight out of Hitchcock's "Psycho."
A Tombstone filmmaker was arrested Wednesday after authorities found a decomposed body of a woman believed to be his mother inside his home.
Tombstone Marshal Billy Cloud said his office received a call on Wednesday to do a welfare check at the home of 68-year-old Jill Fattig.
A deputy was sent to Fattig's home, but when no one answered, he went to question her son, Timothy Fattig, a filmmaker for Desert Scream Productions, a horror-film production company.
Fattig, 34, told the deputy his mother was at a hospital in Tucson. When authorities found this was not the case, Fattig admitted his mother had died a year ago.
After a search warrant was obtained, deputies discovered the skeletal remains of Jill Fattig inside the home.
Fattig was arrested on suspicion of negligent homicide and booked on a $40,000 bond at the Cochise County Jail.

Life imitates Art.
Fattig.
why not. the name says it all.
Was he just cashing her SS checks, or trying to avoid funeral costs?
Same blank expression too.
Well, he was already in Tombstone.
A year later...ugh the stench?????
I bet his favorite movie is “Arsenic and Old Lace”.
His eyes have a horribly blank, dead look to them.
He reminds me of the actor who plays serial killer “Dexter”.
Same look as any average Obama supporter.
From the title, I was expecting it to be someone like Clive Barker, or Wes Craven, or even Rob Zombie. But Timothy Fattig? Even the IMDB has never heard of the guy.
Not that that makes this story any less creepy and/or potentially tragic (if foul play was involved), of course. Just that it seems a little silly to play up the guy like he’s some master of the macabre when his employer has been compared to the like of Troma and the Kaufman brothers (they of “Rabid Grannies” fame).
Mika is at CNN now???
So a creator of horror is involved with a woman named ‘fattig’ dying in ‘tombstone’??
You just can’t make this stuff up . . .
Not in IMDB. You’d think it’d be great publicity for any of the alleged movies he worked on.
About the only thing missing from this story is the guy’s name isn’t “Wayne”.
ping
Did he have a pet rat??
It was a pretty rotten thing for this guy to do.
