I swear FR is turning into a loony bin over the past few days over this earthquake.
And we have the nerve to rip on the public schools and diploma mills when we take nonsense like this seriously?

If theres a quake on the moon and no one is around to feel it, would it really shake?

Aww come on people who doesnt love a good conspiracy theory every now and then. Maybe a moon quake will be so bad a chunk of the moon will break off and the Earth’s grivtational pull will make it crash on Japan. I dont think anything else can happen to these people but this just might the way they have been suffering the last couple days.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orbit_of_the_Moon
Distance at perigee ~364397 km
Distance at apogee ~406731 km
This event puts the distance at 356,577 km.
Closer than usual but not enough to result in any substantial difference from the typical effects.
