So she gets a RO. Is he supposed to immediately divest himself of any and all weapons in his home? NOt ever having seen a RO, does it contain language specifying he has to remove all weapons?

Yes they do you are ordered to turn them over to the police they will give a reciept and then turn it over to you when the RO is lifted.
