We had a bumper crop of those several years ago here in Central Texas. This year, we have bumper crop of acorns....most I have ever seen.
My oak trees produced not one acorn this last Fall. First time I’ve seen that in the 14 yrs. we’ve lived here.(Raleigh)
Led me to forgive the squirrels from raiding the bird feeders over the winter.
