Moose Curry

1ea. 4-5 pound moose roast
1/2 lb Bacon.
4 large onions
2 carrots.
1 can curry powder.
1 bottle of cheap red wine.

Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry in a large dutch oven, Cut the moose roast into bite sized chunks and brown in the bacon fat.
Add the sliced onions and carrots and cook until soft.
Pour in the red wine to just cover the meat and veggie mixture. Save whats left to top off the pot during cooking.
(Do not under any circumstances drink cheap wine!)
Add the curry powder till the stuff is the color of dirty boy scout shorts.
Cover the dutch oven and place it on the top of the wood stove for 4 - 5 hours. Top off when necessary.

Serve with rice.

Why would you cook with wine you wouldn’t want to drink?

Rule #1: If it ain’t worth drinking, it ain’t worth cooking with.
