There was an animal planet show about this very subject 2 or 3 years back.
Result: Tiger beats Lion; Jaguar beats Tiger. Nothing beats Jaguar; it is the strongest and largest of all the big cats.

Always wondered which would win a tiger/lion battle.I'm seeing in other reports that it wasn't a fight. The tiger was able to reach its paw through a gap in the fence to slash the lion.
