I’m still a virgin at 33. Not by choice, I just haven’t been successful at attracting a husband. I’ve never had a boyfriend, either. I just don’t get asked out on dates.

The world can be cruel to some of us. I wish you luck.

Yeah, I'm a guy in the same boat, 44. However, I do chalk it up to various factors such as me not making the right decisions at times plus I have been slow socially when I was younger. I know when I was real little, I was tested since I was slow to talk as well. When I go over my stuff, if I was tested today, I'd probably be diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. For some reason, I can remember and learn a lot of facts, history, radio/electronics (I'm an amateur radio operator), math and science. Still as I've gotten older, I've learned to overcome most of the social walls but this last one here is my last wall to conquer.

Still right now, economics plays a part as well, right now, I'm looking for something with more pay. I work in auto parts now, used to be in IT although I would not mind going back but the way jobs are now, I consider myself lucky. Still, I'd like to see what and who is out there for me after I know where I'm headed vehiclewise. I have a Ford Exploder but there are lots of issues with it plus I'd like to have something cheaper to maintain, run and easier to fix by an iffy mechanic. B-) I'm looking at a 1985 Oldsmobile Ciera with the GM Iron Duke 2.5L engine, I know that engine is easier to maintain by a shadetree mechanic, Mom had one in her 1989 Buick and I've done simple things like replace alternators and so forth. I'd rather have an older car in good shape than a newer one because of that along with the economy the way it is. After I know where I'm headed on this issue, I plan to see what's out there.

Sorry for being OT and off track, but there are many issues as to why there are singles like us out there. I know I'm not the greatest looker out there or the strongest guy but I am very loyal and caring, two traits that are very important to me.
