Failure is not an option for us. The only way that we will truly fail, is to not go that final mile, and do what must be done to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity.
You're pinging my inner optimist, friend. I've been singing that tune for years now, but my pessimist side is suddenly gaining on me.

They will have to disarm us to proceed much further, and they know it.
Which is why they use incremental destruction to take away our rights, and to disarm us. This has been the left's modus operandi for generations, now.
They've got our number, and know that we'll never rise up in anger, as long as they proceed slowly, and deliberately. It's the "frog in a pot" method, and it works.
What's happened recently, is that the leftists have stomped on the accelerator pedal, which woke up the normal people of this country. Now that they've jumped the gun and blown their cover, there's nothing left for them to do, but go on an all-out blitz to finish us off.
This is what we're now dealing with. We must do everything in our power to stop it.
There is a reason Bill Ayers chose education for his career. Education institutions are excellent places to “slither” and hide out.
Again...If conservatives are serious about saving this nation, one of their most important goals must be SHUTTING DOWN our **godless**, collectivist, socialist-funded government K-12 schools. We must also totally reform post high school education and training. (I support Charles Murray's ideas on post high school reform.)
Conservatives MUST MUST MUST get our nation's children into private educational settings that will uphold and thoroughly integrate Judeo-Christian belief and our nation's founding principles into every minute of the school day.
By the way reform of K-12 schooling should include getting rid of Prussian-style and prison-like schools.
It is plainly evident that our Founding Fathers wanted an educated citizenry. They likely had their own educations in mind when they wrote about education: home schooling, tutoring by family and friends, some paid tutoring, dame schools run in the homes of neighbors, one room schools organized by neighbors, apprenticeships, and very small home-based academies to prepare bright youth for college by their early teens.
Make no illusions - we are already at war. The shooting has not started yet. It is only a matter of time before it does.
No political solution can be had. Any illusion of a political solution is just that - a temporary fallacy, merely delaying the inevitable clash of cultures and ideals.

Genocide is not always needed. Japan and Germany are good examples. They were beaten down so badly that they had an “attitude adjustment”.
American citizens? No - we're saying that TRAITORS and FELLOW TRAVELERS, as defined by US law, should be expatriated by force, if necessary.
Those Americans who have willfully abandoned the principles upon which this country was founded, and who have accepted political theories which run counter to our agreed-upon framework of civilization, can no longer rightfully be considered a part of the whole, and are therefore, enemies of the common purpose and continued survival of the nation.
What would you like to do - sit down and try to convince the hard-core left to see things our way? Are you willing to continue the current status quo of incremental destruction of our constitutional republic by the left? What solution do you propose?
I'll tell you what. The more of us who shut our mouths, and decline to speak up out of fear, the stronger the suppress and oppression will be upon us.
The real world works exactly the opposite to what you propose. Shrinking from a fight only invites attack. Freedom isn't free. You must demand it loudly and boldly - and be willing to fight for it, if necessary.
I think trying to "congregate" us will be like trying to herd cats. And the cost to the herders will be very high.

Let them have Oahu. Most of the rest of the islands want nothing to do with that cesspool. Honolulu/Oahu are much like NYC vs. the rest of the state. They monopolize politics, what with 80% of the population concentrated there.
Although not big time wage earners, most of the other islands are fairly independent, and resent being bossed around by the liberals in Honolulu. The numbers count, but Honolulu can't get to the other islands unless they are allowed in. Not a given, by any means.
Most Hawaiians are fairly laid back, but get very pissed off if someone starts telling them what to think or do. And don't forget, about a third here voted against Zero, regardless of his alleged birthplace.

You misunderstood my post sir. I was pointing out the situation, not suggesting shrinking from it. I think my tag Lin speaks for itself on that.

For our sake I hope you’re right but my eyes and intellect are telling me otherwise. What November 2010 showed us was just how far the left is willing to go to protect their interests. Even if most Americans are, in fact, against the unions, they won’t do anymore than give lip service to a few close friends. It kind of reminds me of the “moderate” Muslims who sit back and watch the aggressive hardliners blow up innocents and utter nary a word of disapproval. No panic here; just resolve, my friend!
This thread needs to be pinged across the board. The time has come to speak frankly about what we are willing to do to keep our constitution.
Windflier, the feelings you are voicing are being felt everywhere. I feel them, my husband feels them, my parents, people we talk to, etc. Yes, we are approaching max capacity.
That is what the OPPOSITION has been working toward.
Let us all dwell on those words for a bit. Dwell hard on them, because our children’s freedom depends on it. The oppressed of the world depend on our dwelling on these words.
Freedom’s enemy is at our door. We must answer, but ANSWER TO WIN!!!! The intensity we are seeing by our enemy, we must meet with greater BUT MORE INTELLIGENT intensity.
First, we must remember what got us here- a committed to heart and soul belief that all men are endowed by THEIR CREATOR.
We have abandoned our Creator in every aspect of our society. All of us. We’ve let our Creator be usurped by political correctness and darwinism. Our society is in decline because so many have come to believe we are part of the animal kingdom and we must continue to evolve to a higher level through political correctness.
Get this...American Idol, the show, is the new model for our society. Everyone starts out in a herd, with a few select “well educated” authorities in charge, making sure everyone follows the process, and knows the goals, and knows where the rewards come from. Those of the herd who show the most promise, get promoted. Eventually, at all levels, those who are not beneficial face the “death panel.”
The wild card in the show is the vote of the American people. This represents the vestige of our republic. Last week, our republic spoke. Straight men were voted on most. The top votes went to country singers. Two minorities were in the top ten-a latina and a black.
So, what happened? The “authorities” brought in three more by their own choosing, all politically correct. Then Ryan Seacrest announced as the credits ran to be sure and catch Randy Jackson hosting the NAACP awards this week.
This is where we are going, if we don’t meet the call.
The truth we don’t see on this show is that any one of the talented “herd” could at any time launch out and individually, through hard work and careful planning get the same thing they could get by winning American Idol. Why, because America hold that kind of promise FOR EVERYONE as long as we protect our constitution.
Our constitution does not provide for the easiest way to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but it does provide for the FAIREST way.
It is time to defend our constitution. But we must defend it smartly. Wholesale slaughter is the enemy’s way. We must win with God, our hearts, and our love of freedom.
Sounds simplistic, but I think an on-going prayer vigil by a few rotating thousand at the White House would be quite unnerving and very effective. It could be done.
