Garlic HATES weeds.
I’ve done garlic and if you want a good crop, you have to keep it meticulously weeded but it’s worth it when the crop comes in.
I don’t know about garlic hating weeds. You should have seen the bermuda and weeds I dug it out of at the farm. That garden hasn’t been touched since my dad passed away over a year ago.
I’ve planted garlic with my cabbage and onions under hay and leaves, hoping they’ll pop up. I’ve also planted some with my weeping rose to keep away black spot.
