She agreed with the ruling as did all but one of the justices.

It’s a matter of free speech. If you stop this group, distasteful as they are, tea party gatherings could be next.

She was simply commenting on the irony of all the stupid little rulings against things like nativity scenes, prayers before football games, etc.

What is so embarrassing about what Palin said was, she clearly does not understand the Courts or their rulings.

Under the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, the Separation of Church and State is what clearly effects and prohibits what Palin is calling “an inconsistency” in freedom of speech.

The separation of Church and State and the right to free speech is not even closely related. For some reason, Palin seems to think so.
