Wow. The only thing I have from the yard is a small skunk skull on the mantle.
Like Mr. Colt, Mr. Kimber is a brand of gun; we each have 1911 .45’s. We also have Smith & Wesson (.38) and Colt (.45) pieces.
When hubby passed away 20 years ago, he had an arsenal. I have 4 son's and put all the guns on the table and they chose (in order of age) which guns they wanted. He also had made his own black powder gun. When he first shot it he was behind a tree and shot with his left hand...he couldn't afford to lose the right if it exploded.. But all the guys are mostly bow and arrow. He also had several including his compound bow that went to the son's.
My colt was the gun my father used and registered for his CCW. Being a retired cop from Detroit, he always had a gun with him no matter where he went...I inherited it in the mid 1980's when he passed. It a nice little carry gun.
