First, I was applying apples to apples -- one sexual ethic to another.
Certainly your point is relevant 'cause at least we're still talking fruit to fruit (the same general category of relational ethics)...But my point was more specific...BOTH dealt very specifically with sexual ethics. If BYU is setting up one standard for sexual ethics, then certainly that's a major departure from how their original five founding "prophets" acted.
Now if you hear about a basketball player being kicked off a team for violating its "own no slave" or "don't exploit others' labor" policy, you be sure to weigh in with that parallel example.
