All the virtues are connected. Get rid of one, all the others trail after it, like knots on a rope.

Sexual immorality destroys character. And conversely, valuing and honoring even one virtue often helps one develop the other virtues. When people are educated about virtues, what they are, and why they are vital to human life. When people are educated and raised to be feral humanimals, then it is almost impossible for them to change, short of religious conversion.

It’s worse than merely destroying character. It causes a person to disconnect from others. It devalues humanity. But there are worse evils in modern society that do a better job of that.
