According to Page Six, Christina Aguilera, who majorly botched the Super Bowl national anthem yesterday, has resisted efforts by her staff to convince her to get help. The Burlesque star, who divorced ex-husband Jordan Bratman in October, reportedly passed out from drinking at Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner’s... 40th birthday party last month. Her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was reportedly comforting her in a back room.
Sources tell Page Six that Aguilera has been behaving erratically, and her staff thought it best she get help—a plan the pop diva resisted.
“They wanted to talk to her carefully about the issue, but they’re not going to because they are scared after she threatened to fire them,” a source said.
However, a different source denied the story and said the rumor was being spread by a former staffer.
Aguilera has been in the limelight lately due to her divorce and rebound romance. It was reported last month that she was still living with her estranged husband, new boyfriend, and son. In December, nude pictures of the starlet were leaked.
