The market here is very, very, very bad. They looked at it and have not made up their mine yet.

The market is very bad here too, Dubya. My son lives in CA, he is telling me that it is horrible there. It is so sad - properties losing worth.

I got mail this week from the County - telling me that my taxes will remain the same, even though my property value has been cut in half..........not too happy about that.

The market here in CA is not only bad...it is dead. I don't think people will survive for it to come back. It was so inflated to begin with!

I have 2 very good friends who are RE Agents. Both husbands are contractors. They have both lost their homes for lack of sales and the building end of it is gone at this point. I think we have it bad until I stop and see what others are going through.

My property value went down, but the taxes went up. We are so scr*wed in this state but can't afford to get out!
