Good morning, everyone.

I've been reading about the dehydrated foods.
I use dry onion flakes, granulated garlic and have used dry pepper flakes.
I've never made Au Gratin potatoes from scratch; we like Betty Crocker's.
I've made scalloped from scratch but
we like Betty Crocker's and they are so much easier. :)
I've added dried onions ; now I'll try the green onions.

Wishing everyone a delightful Friday.

Well, I WAS going to make scrambled eggs this morning from the dehydrated powder, but when I took off the plastic cover, there was powder on the can. I checked around the edges, and sure’nuff, there was a tiny crack at the seam on top. So, I will have to bring it back for a replacement.

I thought it was an excellent idea - just 2 1/2 T. of whole egg powder and 2 1/2 T. water = one whole egg. Can be used in cakes, breads, omelettes ..... anything that requires eggs in baking.

But, I DID make the pancakes from their mix, and I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL they turned out! Much better than the pancakes I make from scratch! They were not in the LEAST bit heavy or doughy. Light and fluffy - and I’m going to make them from now on. No more beating the egg, measuring the milk, the flour, the oil, the baking powder/soda, just water and mix for EXCELLENT pancakes!

Beautiful day in the neighborhood... No wind and rain (yet).

My wardrobe doesn't allow me to wear red everyday as a sign of supporting our troops, but the support is still there everyday, so today is RED day.
