LOL.. We don't have fields of daffodils here. One must plant them.

When I was a kid I remember putting daffodils in different glasses of water and then putting different colors of dye in each glass. The daffodils would change color. It didn't seem to hurt them as far as wilting goes.(actually it was food coloring)
