I hope you can save your dogwood, Meg.
I have a tree that has been 'hanging on' for ten years.
Perhaps an arborist could give it a vitamin boost.
It saved my tree (at least for now).

I know, mostly all my church plays is un-singable songs, flat line style. No fast and slow mix. Makes for a BORING service. Preacher is boring too.

What’s so bad is they do have a good band, but they are flat line singers, but only the organist plays on Sunday.

You can’t get the Holy Spirit moving with that kind of BORING preaching and singing.

Easter Cantata is going to be a so BORING 45 mins, not one exciting song in the program.

Doesn’t do any good to tell them they need to up tempo some of these older songs and get the band to play with the organist.

Makes me want to stay home, hubby sings in the choir. I snooze in the pew. Then play my own CD’s for the spiritual up lifting I crave.

Jaycee, perfect scripture for me today! I ~have~ regained my strength, Praise God!

A week ago I found out I am allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts and a few other foods.

I had been feeling so bad for a lot of years.I thought it was the diabetes or old age (48) or depression. I was very wrong.

God sent me my sister, who had this allergy test done 2 years ago. He had my sister pester me to get the test. He knocked on the door using her, I didn’t answer until recently. I got my results March 18th. I felt better within 24 hours of eliminating the foods I was sensitive to and a week later I feel like Wonder Woman.

Praise The Lord, I feel good for the first time in 10 years.

Any of my Amy’s Place pals who feel bad but don’t know why, might consider this allergy test.

It only cost $257 .

It has changed everything for me.

It is a blood test. The company sends a kit, you get blood drawn at your hometown, it gets overnighted to the company and within 2 weeks you know if you are allergic to 200 foods.

I was off the charts sensitive on dairy and eggs and peanuts.

I lost 5 pounds in a week. The rapid loss has stopped and that is good I suppose, I don’t want to disappear. I think it was water weight from the inflamation from the allergies.
I will lose the other 20 pounds slower with my better diet.

Website for this test is below, it is state of the art, not found at any traditional doctor, so don’t bother asking them....use this place,,,it saved me and my sister and I am sending 2 friends there who are suspicious that they have food allergies.

I didn’t even tell my doctor I was having the test, it was between me and the lab, no insurance involved etc. I have mailed her a copy of my results. Don’t get me wrong, I love my doctor, but this test is one that she couldn’t get for me. My sister had many false negative tests for gluten etc, and was in rough shape until she found Meridian Valley Lab in Seattle. She even went there in person for a week. She was very ill because traditional doctors tests did not find her allergies. Meridian saved her life.

I recommend the Combo Test which is officially called the “Combo E-95 & A-95”. (It’s the basic plus the extended food panel tests combined.)

My sister told me for 2 years to get it done, that she could see there was something wrong with me and I poo-pooed her. How I wish I had not been so stubborn.

Here’s the page on the site about the Combo test.

It was very easy to do. Just did the blood draw, the hosptial lab staff followed the instructions in the kit, (had to spin the plasma out and send it in the pre-paid UPS box etc), it took a half hour for the blood draw and I just showed up with the kit, no appointment.

10 days later I was astounded that the foods I ate a lot of were killing me slowly.

I live in Wisconsin, I ate a lot of cheese and milk and butter. No more!

Well, must get back out to the greenhouse, there’s many thousands of plants calling to me...

Take Care Everyone, TCP

I wrote and posted this last year,
And wanted to share it again, with my FRiends,
As we celebrate a NEW Springtime....

BENEATH THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS

Beneath the cherry blossoms
I take your arm
And we stroll along the old familiar path.

A single petal floats from the tree above
And softly lands upon my hair.
You pluck it, and put it gently to your lips.

Oh, how I love springtime with you,
When everything is new and fresh
And we are surrounded with the promise of new beginnings.

How I wish you and I could return
To the beginning of our time together,
And capture the springtime of our youth -

And walk together forever, beneath the Cherry Blossoms of Spring.

~~yorkie~~

Being that I live "in the uttermost parts of the sea"
I have always love Psalms 139:9/10:
If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the
uttermost parts of the sea, even there shall thy hand
lead me and thy right hand shall hold me up.
These verses are inscribed on the tomb of Charles Lindbergh
who is buried right here on Maui.

TCP, what an amazing story! I am SO glad you took that test, and found out what was causing your problems!

The only thing that I would respectfully disagree with, was your comment about “old age” at 48 years old! Sweetie, how I wish that I could be THAT *old* today!!!! LOL!

As your body rids itself of the toxins it has consumed for many years, you should start to feel younger and younger! ((((HUGS))))
