We have not had chickens on our farm for over 60 years, but I plan to have some soon.

At this point I think I will order Barred Rock pullets. My brother has expressed some interest in some chics for meat, are Barred Rocks a good choice for that? Have heard them described as dual purpose birds.

I just made a major addition to our family orchard. 29 new fruit trees, 4 blueberry bushes, strawberries, blackberries and even trying a few PawPaws.

The garden is next, plant to really enlarge that too.
