I like your earnestness, to be honest. Maybe I’m not smart enough to get it. I just don’t see half-formed creatures, which would lead me to believe that evolution may be true.
One more question: Do you think that the evolution of all organisms was directed by God, or do you believe that God was surprised by the advent of cats, elephants, earthworms and humans? Cordially, Bob

If you are expecting “half formed creatures” then you are not knowledgeable enough about the subject. Intelligence is not even a factor at that point, just knowledge.

Would you call an Australopithocine a “half formed creature”?

They have apparently existed for longer than modern humans have, and were therefore presumably quite well adapted to their environment some three million years ago.

I think ALL things unfold according to God’s plan. No, God was not surprised when, for example, the dinosaurs that ‘ruled the Earth’ for millions of years went extinct.
