In an interview with NBCs Jeff Rossen that aired on TODAY Monday morning, Charlie Sheen, the combative star of long-running hit Two and a Half Men, demanded a raise from approximately $2 million to $3 million per episode to come back to the set of the show. CBS and Warner Bros. Television have currently halted production for the shows ninth season in the wake of Sheens very public rants against Men creator Chuck Lorre and Alcoholics Anonymous.
Im not angry, Im passionate, Sheen told Rossen. Its everybody thinks I should be begging for my job back, and Im just going to forewarn them that its everybody else thats going to be begging me for their job back.
Though he claimed he has been swamped with offers for movies, Sheen said: I am a man of my word, so I will finish the TV show. Ill even do season 10, but at this point, [because of] psychological distress, oh, my God, its 3 mil an episode.

Even when I can have compassion to someone, I have no moral right to ask the same from others. If the poster does not feel compassion to Sheen, who am I to say that he must? It's his choice.
Finding sickness entertaining is another matter altogether. I do find dancing at a hospital bed --- finding Sheen's meltdown entertaining -- to be akin to dancing on a grave. No, there is nothing irrational about dancing on graves either, but Jews and Christians don't do that; it's against Judeo-Christian values.
So, I expressed a puzzlement about someone being entertained by a meltdown. To that I receive a reply which includes considerations of wealth. I don't buy that and, I suspect, neither do you.
In my book, dancing on a grave of a rich person is as wrong as dancing on a grave of a poor one.
Charlie was really off the rails this morning. What’s scarier to me is the fact that they said they tested him and he was clean. I think he absolutely has a problem that no amount of drug or babe rehab will cure.
You are right. It certainly isn’t the right thing to do, but somehow, it just doesn’t seem as abominable to mock someone for their misfortune when they are the ones who are entirely responsible for it...
I totally agree however, Charlie thinks they love him and want him because he’s such a talented desireable man. he buys outrageous gifts (thanks Charlie the enonomy needs that!) but that is the only reason these women are with that snaggle toothed loser
Again showing the idiocy of this man’s way of thinking - I hope he gets slammed for antisemitism! lol It’s always fun when libs get slammed with their own methods!
Charlie is well paid considering all they have to deal with and he "deserves" to pay the costs of the delays and revenues he has caused
Martin Sheen is Spanish on his dad’s side and Irish on his mother’s.
He took the name "Sheen" from Fulton Sheen, go figure.
“WOW!!! If you wanna forget about Obama, the economy, gas, hippies in Wisconsin, NOTHING beats this video!!! This guy is absolutely entertaining!!!”
Indeed. Pure comic relief.
And if you want to talk about compassion have compassion for all of the people out of work because of this drug addict sicko.
If you read all of my posts I am referring to his drug usage not his income level.
I don't agree with your radical beliefs, you probably think I'm doomed to hell since you believe your specific denomination is the only way to Salvation. WHICH is ammo to anti-Christian humanists.
I don't believe that if you are a Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, ect.... that you are going to hell, obviously you have a different belief.
My sister belonged to a cult which kicked them out because they didn't go to church three times a week because my brother in law has testicular cancer and is immobile. You know what denomination that was? Baptist. Now are all Baptist Churches bad? Absolutely not, this just happened to be run by a psychotic who actually sent out literature demanding that woman have a certain length of hair, how they are still affiliated with Baptists is beyond me.
Do you think that a cancer ridden person who cannot attend church three times a week because of their illness and is condemned to hell like their preacher said?
Because your rhetoric is identical to that preacher who states that anyone who doesn't believe everything he preaches is going to burn in hell. That is how you are coming off in your post. And it saddens me that there are so many Christians who are quick to try and throw religion into everything. I go to Church, leave me alone with your damnation talk, too bad I can't block posters because ranting from zealots belittles this website.
This was a humorous article to take our minds off of the disasters across the world. Instead you inject your radical beliefs into this story. Hmm, maybe you are that same preacher, wouldn't surprise me...
LOL you are a zealot, go reread the Bible where Jesus talks about "judgment" last I checked you weren't God Almighty!
And who are you to assume what religion or beliefs I have that isn't any of your business. Last I checked I did not have to sign a waver on this website that I must subscribe to TopQuark's religious denomination.
If you want to discuss religion there is a whole area of Free Republic where people argue religion.
As the Admin_Moderator stated this is in the Chit/Chat category.
I for one could careless about your opinion. You are a zealot who thinks everyone should follow your religious beliefs. That is very judgmental and quite frankly turns my stomach because you are demeaning Christians by acting like judge, jury and executioner.
This is my last response to you. You are a cultist, and I don't think that the best de-programmer in the world could fix you.
Arguing with someone who is clearly mentally ill, I sincerely believe those in cults are mentally ill, are not worth arguing with because no matter what I say you are going to preach to me that only YOUR rules will get me to Heaven. Last I checked that was up to Jesus, not you.
73 posts, one religious zealot who believes that they are the only ones who can pass judgment. He is a cultist which is evident in his rants.
Rambling about Karl Marx and Judeo-Christianity and saying I am a Marxist and anti Judeo-Christian because I made a thread regarding Charlie Sheen is the sign of an imbalanced individual. I am not going to reply to their posts anymore because you can't argue with someone that brainwashed.
No, he truly thinks the opposite. The insane drug use is to to forget it.
Many rich people turn to drugs because so many of the women, friends and sometimes family that “love” them are only after their trinkets. The richer and more famous, the worse it is. Especially in people born rich that never developed relationships prior to wealth.
The same thing goes for very beautiful women and people using them for sex.
Possessing extreme wealth or beauty often makes it harder to achieve the most important things in life. Things that you will never see in tabloids and MTV shows that promote meaningless possessions and sex 24/7.
As someone said: When you’re living with a 20 year-old porn star, it’s not hard to think you’re brilliant.
Sheen wants $3 million PER EPISODE. And according to Forbes Magazine a few months ago, the show brings in $3.1 million an episode.
And for the record, I don't care how much his show makes - others depend on him to be there to work so they can work. I'm not referring to the other cast members only, but to the support staff as well.
Sheen reminds me of a very good friend's brother who developed schizophrenia at about the age of 29. One day the brother showed up at my apartment after he had driven 300 miles from northern Michigan to the Detroit area where I lived claiming he had an appointment the next morning with the French consulate to discuss the funding of a railway system from Detroit to northern Michigan and he needed a place to stay for the night.
It was quite apparent that he had stopped taking his medications, which he was prone to do. To say that was a bizarre evening is an understatement. Fortunately my friend lived across town and he was able to come over and spend the evening too after he got off work.
How dare you question toddy? He is the all knowing entertainment guy on this site! lol
