What percentage of FreeRepublic Religious posts have more than 3 responses? (I bet that this will not be one of them.)
Just curious. A graph would be helpful from someone more capable and less lazy than myself.
Maybe you could do a seach using religion as a key word. Then you could look at those threads and perhaps get an idea. Is there a special reason you are asking?
You’re very perceptive.
76.1875%
Out of the last 50 threads posted in the religion forum, some of which are still pretty new, at least 39 have reached more than 3 responses, with the highest reaching 124. If this is a large enough sample to be representative, then about 80% or more of religion threads reach more than 3 responses.
Dang...I came up with 76.1877% but then again I wasn’t ever very good at math.
And the point of your question is?
Woo hoo...now you have more than 3 responses! Unless you meant you wanted three from three different posters.
Nevermind!
The Mormons draw lots of fire.
Nope, I got my three...I can die happy now.
I think I’m number 11...you lose.
You're very perceptive, since this isn't on the Religion Forum.
Ever tried your hand in the casinos?
86.75309%
I guess that depends on what you call a ‘religious post’. I recollect a post last weekend that had to with a ‘homosexual agenda’ issue and it had well over a hundred last time I looked.
What is your purpose?
What do you plan to do with the info?
Therefore what?
I think a more useful criteria would be, what percentage go more than 50 posts; 75 posts; 100 posts; 150 posts. & 200 posts of what topics.
You bet wrong. How much do I win? ;-)
Well, either way, you’ll have to agree it a great federal tax rate.
Just kiddin.’
I believe the “Reformation Day” thread is over 7,500 replies and still going strong.
RC’s tend to post a lot of . . . pontificating blather with very long initial article posts. Some of their stalwarts may mutually ooooo and aaahhhhh for several posts but usually such threads die an early death.
Proddys can sometimes post just as long initial posts . . . and similar things happen unless there’s something somewhat controversial or movingly touching or unusually interesting about the topic . . . then it can go for several hundred.
REPLACEMENTARIANS and us Dispys can go around and around for many hundreds of posts as can the RC’s vs Proddys.
Seemingly, it takes conflict to be dramatically interesting.
