The Koreans as a group are the healthiest folks I've ever come across and, based on what I've seen served up, they eat kimchi at virtually every meal. Of course, eating enough garlic to make it ooze out your pores could be a factor as well.

Yes, they eat kimchi. However, most Koreans I know won't touch fermented skate wing, another Korean 'delicacy.' Something about the uric acid turning into ammonia that makes it difficult to appreciate on the palate (palate? I understand it's difficult to appreciate having in the same room).
