A Texas elementary school teacher was put on administrative leave earlier this week after being arrested for assaulting an elderly couple at an Arlington, Texas, shopping mall.
The alleged assault happened Feb. 19 (a Saturday) at The Parks at Arlington mall as Brenda Jones Stafford, a fifth-grade teacher, escorted several of her A.M. Pate Elementary students out on a school field trip.
An elderly couple Carlton Morgan, 73, and his wife Bette Davis Morgan, 71 were having coffee at the malls food court when Stafford approached them and tried to grab a chair Ms. Davis had her leg propped up on. Stafford claims she needed the chair for one of her students to use. But when Davis refused to let go of the chair, Stafford spit on Ms. Davis, pushed her and even tried to choke her. When Ms. Davis husband stepped in to try and stop the fight, Stafford pushed him down, hit him and tried to choke him as well.
Staffords students yelled at her, encouraging her to stop attacking Mr. Davis and managed to pull her off him. Stafford and her group left the scene but she was arrested shortly thereafter when police located her in a different area of the mall. She now faces felony assault charges and school officials have placed her on administrative leave while the case is investigated.
Now that would be heckuva lot of kickin’....if ya get my drift...:)
Did the nightclub have a sign posted saying "We reserve the right to refuse service to ANYONE?"
Had the nightclub ever refused service to anyone else in the past? Should nightclubs be forced to state their reasons for refusing service in every individual case? Aren't nightclubs entitled to refuse entrance to people one the basis even of totally "subjective" criteria (e.g., "the newcomers looked like they were already a little too tipsy" or "the newcomers didn't look quite 'tony' enough for our club")?
Item: If I were refused admission, I wouldn't even ask why. If the bouncer volunteered info like "you appearance isn't quite up to our standards" or "we already have enough red-headed guests tonight" or even "I don't like Jews," I would "suck it up" and go on my way.
In short: No one has a RIGHT to admission to a nightclub. The fact that, in this specific case, the nightclub chose to state its reasons for refusing admission - and then to subsequently disavow those reasons - is attributable entirely to their own stupidity (PC-ness).
Regards,
Oh how I wish that one of the Morgans had a concealed carry weapon at the time of this assault. This story might then have had a happier ending.
Seems like since zero became Prez the “N” word is out of style...because of it clearly doesn’t describe what more than a few of them have become. The “A” word is more descriptive....ANIMALS
What a lovely thug we have here...
Don’t insult animals. I use the word savages, it’s much more fitting.
She’s got that “I beez intitled cause the won iz prez” look on her face.
Give 'em medals.
The man looks like Dave Letterman and I swear she looks like someone I know! How could you forget those eyebrows?
Fort Worth teacher charged with assault on elderly couple
...this is not Stafford's first run-in with the law.
Ofcourse that explains the children knowing right from wrong. The Unions don’t get to brainwash the kids.
And on a Saturday?
Administrative leave? In a sane world, she would be fired immediately. Bet she’s glad there’s a teachers union to keep her pay checks coming in.
She looks like she wants to kick someone's butt.
I'm still wondering why the teacher and students were on a field trip to the mall on a Saturday. ?
Maybe they just called it a field trip. Maybe she was just baby sitting for working parents. Don’t know, just a guess.
Is this some cultural thing with blacks, really? Be rude right off the bat, hit people if you don’t get your way, carry on like some fine young cannibal? I see this constantly.
Talk about “cradle-to-grave”. Now your teacher takes you shopping on the weekend, and gets you lunch in the food court.
What an animal.
Coolest field trip when I was a kid was to the Tonka toy factory. Seeing the huge machines stamping, bending, welding, and painting metal into the toy trucks we had in our sandbox just captivated me.
Plus, at the end every kid received a Tonka truck! And not some tiny, cheap plastic piece of chinese junk. A full-sized Tonka truck!
