The key anti-communist book in American history is “Witness” by Whittaker Chambers. First published in 1952, just as relevant today.
I picked up a older hardback copy of ‘Witness’ at a library used book sale last year. It’s still sitting on my bookshelf. I think it’s next on my reading list when I’m finished w/my pile of library books, LOL. I was happy to find it though, along with a copy of ‘Free to Choose’ by Milton and Rose Friedman.
I have literally filled my bookshelves with stuff from those library sales (much to my husband’s amusement). I’m addicted to book shopping like some women are with shoes ;)
