Sea gulls are the Hell’s Angels of the bird world.
One day at the beach a gull actually swooped down and stole a hot dog out of my daughter’s hand when she was about five years old. She was very put out.

Those seagulls are some darn clever birds. I used to jog on the bike path in Long Beach and witness their antics. They would grab live snails from the vegetation on the cliff next to the bike path, then fly over the path and drop the snails from such a height as to break the shells open on the concrete. Then they would swoop down and eat the fresh escargot. Sometimes it was so bad it was like you were being bombarded with snails. Clever, clever birds.

Hmmm...I live in San Jose but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna go see a bunch of seagulls that equivelate to a bunch of thug union members in which all they wanna do is take from you and not give.
I’m just sayin.........

Simple solution, get some fishing line thats made of spectra, nearly indestructible, anchor one end securely, bait the other end with a piece of pork. Set up as many as possible give at least 30 feet of line to each piece.
Seagulls cannot digest pork, comes right out the rear.
And another seagull will scarf it up, it will pass and on through another seagull, and it repeats.
Birds on a wire!

In some area of Southern California, we're seeing a whole lot of wild green parrots, with some red and orange colors...Really neat birds...Last summer we saw hundreds of them....
They appear very similar to this guy..

Oh the problems blue states have that could be solved in 30 minutes with a box of #7 shotshells.

There's webs site devoted to images of seagulls stealing food/ice cream from unsuspecting folks.
