LOL — of course, I meant STARTing room. I probably should call it a STORing room.
But, if you go into the business of having all that food stored, you also need to make a plan to USE all that food, as you go along, and then replace it. I think it is a laudable scheme — I’m just too disorganized to implement it.
The secret is to not buy anything that you don’t use regularly, that you don’t normally store in your pantry. Then when you run out in the pantry closet, you go to your basement supply and then replenish the basement, not your pantry. You just keep cycling the food.
