It's pretty rotten when a man becomes vulnerable in his old age and some relative is pushing him around like that. Elderly abuse. I believe the judge did right, and you have to wonder if he remembers Andy Hardy's father was a judge.

The storied cohorts whining against Mickey Rooney could be lined up all together and NEVER cough up even a measure of the morale, sheer joy, laughter, and talent that Rooney brought to Americans, young and old, here at home and those abroad during the War years. He remains a walking history of hard times, hard work and dedication to his craft, having to navigate through the hanger’s on and naysayers, ala the scandal sheets.

Thankfully he still has that same can-do spirit and plenty of feisty spit-in-your-eye American charactor (long gone today)to tackle one more hanger-on imposing himself on Rooney’s twilight years. What a guy, that Mickey. Good for him.
