My next vehicle might be a Subaru “wagon”. Something I can fetch groceries in and still chase 20 somethings down the beach in. hey! I'm old, but I'm not dead! :0)

If station wagons are dead, why is that both Acura and Cadillac have just released new ones?
Never had much desire for a Bimmer but if you live in snow country the Audi all-wheel-drive is the way to go. I had a ‘86 VW Quantum Syncro Wagon (think Audi 4000 station wagon with VW badges and switchgear) back in the day and it was unstoppable! Locking center and rear differentials plus room to tote lots of stuff. It was the most fun winter car I’ve ever owned and I’ll miss it ‘til the day I die...

mostly driven by *older* folks. This "older folk" likes her Audi wagon.....6 cyl, 5 valve. And I haven't gotten a speeding ticket yet. And shrub roses fit in the back. What more could I ask for ? ;-)

I think of wagons in that space as Sport Utility Sports Cars and wish we had more choices. There are plenty in Europe that don’t make it across the pond because idiot soccer moms have to have SUVs.
