Sexual side effects of Parkinson disease drugs is long established.
My son has a good friend who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s (age 23). He was counseled on the side effect of hypersexuality when he was prescribed his drugs and was also told to stay out of the casinos. They didn’t mention turning him gay though.
“Sinemet - long used drug for Parkensons Disease. Here is one side effect:
Note hypersexuality. Nervous System/Psychiatric: psychotic episodes including delusions, hallucinations, and paranoid ideation, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, bradykinetic episodes (on-off phenomenon), confusion, agitation, dizziness, somnolence, dream abnormalities including nightmares, insomnia, paresthesia, headache, depression with or without development of suicidal tendencies, dementia, pathological gambling, increased libido including hypersexuality, impulse control symptoms. Convulsions also have occurred; however, a causal relationship with Sinemet has not been established.”
Other than that, the tremors stopped.
