Worst tip I ever got was a religious tract that looked like a ten dollar bill & no actual tip to go along with it. I was already a Christian, but I can guarantee that method of witnessing will be turn people off to the gospel.
I went to a religious liberal arts College and all of my friends who waited as their College job (all of them good Christians) told me the worst shifts to have were Sundays and Wednesday nights because people who hit the restaurants after Church never tip or leave tracts as tips.
Even Christian waiters couldn’t stand them.
Oh my, I thought I was the only one to get that treatment! Two women, long after the dinner rush. I busted my ass giving the TERRIFIC service and that was my tip. I would have liked to tell them where to put it, but of course, they had already slunk out.
