Google is far, far sleazier than Microsoft...but at least they do have engineers capable of giving us things that work...mostly.

I agree. Never used Google search due to their Dem and NSA affiliation but I do like their Google Earth thingy. A buddy of mine volunteers as an IT guy for Mozilla and their engineers reportedly hate Google more than anyone here.
