I shall never buy again from ding dong dell. Their tech support really sucks. “Peggy” is 1000 times better. I am stopping before I really get going. This is IMHO of course.

I have a Dell desktop at home and I agree with you 100%. I had a warranty debacle over it in the 12 months it was covered. In short, I was included on a class action settlement against Dell in 2009. With their money awarded to me in the spring of that year, I bought an additional 1 year uber-warranty (knowing that my original warranty lacked the oomph of this better one). Then I had them fix my Dell like I had pushed for originally.
(My settlement award was for $265, which was based on the price of the one year uber-warranty). So in a nutshell, they fixed my PC with their own class action settlement money. What they lost, though was a buyer for life.
