I always respect those who "walk the walk", even when they are misguided and dead wrong. But that doesn't mean they should get away with anything.

If you want to stop whaling, go about it legally through the (spit) U.N., not by illegal assaults.
‘If’ Sea Shepherd rammed the Japanese whaling ships, they always presented themselves to the Japanese to accept the consequences. ‘We rammed your boat at this longitude and latitude’ ‘We knocked your driftnet block off’ or something like that. The Japanese response was always that they had no ship in the waters in question. If a crime is being committed (whaling) and someone stops that crime from being perpetrated, where is the crime?
