Not to show how clueless I am, but does smart phone mean it can answer and communicate for me? If so, I want one.

Do they make them in a full sized laptop, so I wouldn’t have to strain my eyes?

Well a smartphone is really a mobile device ,...usually with a camera,...and capability to receive email and to browse the Web....also will have a GPS so it can be a navagiation device.

Then there are the applications...
