To: Tolerance Sucks Rocks

That reminds me of Robert L. Scott who wrote “God Is My C0-Pilot”. When he was a kid growing up in Georgia, he actually bought a Curtis Jenny at auction after WWI. I think he paid less than a hundred dollars.

I had a doctor in Grapevine, Texas tell me when he was a kid, his father and he visited the WWII aircraft boneyard where you could purchase any single-engine aircraft for $300-$500.

He paid $75. The other guy buying them got sick of his bidding and told him, “Son, I’m gonna let you have this one if you will go away.” He only had $75.
