Actually, Obama has been stiffing the press ever since he came into office. Bill Clinton used to give them fabulous parties, circulating among Hollywood starlets and the like, on the White House lawn.
Obama never gives them an interview, and that party the other evening was one of the first he’s invited them to.
But they just keep bending over for him, regardless. I guess they are gluttons for punishment.

While he chastises Egypt for shutting down the internet, he is lobbying at home for his very own internet kill switch.
While he praises the right of the people of Egypt to protest, he ridicules the Tea Party here.
While he says Mubarak has overstepped his boundaries as leader of Egypt, he oversteps his legal boundaries here as he brazenly thwarts the ruling of a Federal Court that voided his ObamaCare law.
I’ve definitely noticed that he’s talking a mile a minute like he can’t wait to get out of there, trying to ignore the fly in his Chardonnay.
Because he jumped the gun and got in on the side of the opposition before the issue was settled. Now he looks worse than the fool.
