In all honesty Victory does have some very good bikes, and again in all honesty a biker isn’t afraid of what he or she rides, the mystique at least to me is knowing that when I ride either of my bikes I will always have either envious or hated eyes upon me.

I do not own a Harley, being a mechanic and savvy about mechanica fundamentals and purchasing value I bout a new Yamaha 1300 Tourer two years ago. Almost half the price of a Harley but with an engine design I liked. Its a water cooled counterbalanced fuel injected V-twin.

What would I buy if money wasn’t a question? I would get an Indian, the Victory line has some rock solid air cooled engines and all have 6 speed trannies. The Vision can be great for two-up and touring and if the style isn’t your cup of tea well it could come off and be sported out.

I also have a 1980 Honda CX 500 Deluxe with a Vetter faing, completely restored, its a unique and fun bike, Honda used to be ahead of everyone but lately I think Yamaha is, they make some good and powerful cruisers and touring bikes.

Buddy of mine had a Silver Wing along these lines.

I liked the Guzzi-esque transverse-V.
