I have the same chocolate allergy that you have. The migraines were so bad that I was sure my skull was cracking. I discovered it many years ago, but I am not the least bit upset about it now. I took a taste of chocolate a couple of years ago and it tasted like mud! Nothing that I ever wanted to try again, I’m way over it!
I’m still waiting to get to that point. When I think of the headaches, I can usually resist the urge...but not always.
