If we had to move from Colorado, my husband and I would probably choose Utah and Southeast Utah specifically. But like someone else said, how to make a living in that specific area? Arizona would be a possibility. Idaho possibly.

southest Utah. isn’t that Moab. very rocky country. some years ago I took a trip from the grand canyon up through zion and bryce and then traveled around in southern utah on the east and west side. There were some towns in southwestern utah that reminded me of california back in the 60’s. moab was ok if you liked dirt bike riding, climbing around on rocks and rafting. and once you got away from the tourist areas there was an air of the old west in the southeast corner of the utah—as in long ago and far away.

But these are only passing impressions.

What is it about southeast utah that impresses you?
