I have been to just about every state in the USA in my business travels. Houston is a good area... the only thing that concerns me is being so close to the border? The docs are good, oil, manufacturing, jobs, no income tax, etc. My main concern... the border... any insight on this? Could it in 10 tears have so many illegals that it now is a liberal mecca?

You’ll find a hispanic population no matter which major SMSA you choose in Texas. That said you can pick and choose within those SMSAs where you’ll find differing ethnic concentrations. Good luck.

I used to live in the DFW area. Like any other urban area, you’re going to have the good with the bad. If I were to go back, I’d likely prefer the central areas between Waco, Austin, and San Antonio.
